What is missing for this to fit a 2012 Street Glide with the stock football?

 

just don't use the black sprocket looking thing, that is the spacer from the flat filter out to the irregular shape of the 103 filter (the hump on the front)

i'd guess you can resell that spacer quick, so someone can retain their 103 logo filter.

 

I am not 100% certain. I never tried it, 04ctd seems to know. Looking at the 08-13 kits compared to the 14-16 Rushmore kit, the Rushmore kit does have the adapter plate to fit the Rushmore cover and the others dont.

More importantly, why would you want to keep the football cover? The Rushmore air cleaner cover design alone flows more air and cooler air then the football cover. Looks better also imo. Even put one on my 2011.

btw - its listed in eBay now for more money.

 

I definitely agree with the looks and don't want to keep the football cover, just want to ensure I don't need to buy additional bits & pieces for the conversion. Thanks for the information.
