I believe you are feeling sop correctly

Not sure you should be running without more fuel considering you did a/c and pipes. You may want to confirm that to be safe. Also, imo reconsider the FP3, save a little more and get TTS or PV.

The FP3 seemed to be the easiest to use.Thats why I stuck with crusher or V&H products.It seemed to run very well.Ran good with the night sticks also.Decel pop once in awhile.Ive never experienced discoloration of any muffler and the crushers will be my third pair.
