Is this like the reach seat or is it different? I am looking for a lower seat for my SG but the reach seat is not a good fit for me. Thank you!

I compared this seat against my brothers 15SGS and the seating position looks the same but this sits you lower - No proof as it was just an eyeball comparison -

I just bought the same seat for my 14 SGS. It moves me about 1" forward, 1" lower, back rest is 1-2" higher and gives my bride more room back there as well as much more cushion.

Its the 1" forward that scares me. I tried a reach seat from Harley and it moved me way too far forward for my large ****.

I dont know if it pushes forward or not the the description on the HD dealership site only mentions the drop no mention of it moving you forward
I dont know if it helps but here as a pic of it on my 09 Ultra

Nice looking bike! Thank you for all the help. I am going to stop at a dealership and sit on an Ultra Low to see how it fits.

I have been battling the same problem. Either lowering the back one inch or get a different seat. HD says don't lower it, change your seat. I see some people posting they lowered the rear and have no problems.
Still trying to decide. with orig bars my lower back hurt after each ride, put a rider back rest on helped my back. Now I have 14" apes, haven't rode it without the back rest yet to see if the apes helped or not. I should

It's actually a MUCH better position for me. Completely got rid of my lower back pain. I personally love the seat and highly recommend it, great thing is if it doesn't work for you then you can always resell it! Couple pics of it on my SGS.
