Free bump for ya. I just put 400 miles on mine for the first time yesterday. It was incredibly comfortable especially being able to change the air as the day went on. As far as seating it is down and back from a stock seat for sure. I'm 5'11" and it works for me.

It will fit a CVO mines on a CVO Road King......[/QUOTE]

What year? I called DG last Friday and again this morning, sent email and they have yet to get back to me. I don't know why it WOULDN'T fit, but their note info specifically states "FLHR, X, T 08+ : Excludes CVO/SE models". I called tech support at J&P cycle and they couldn't answer why either... pretty frustrating! My gut says it will probably fit, but I'd like to be certain before pulling the trigger on tbob's seat.

Does anyone have this seat on a '15 CVO Road Glide? Thanks

I understand. I would think it would but not for sure.

Default DG Airhawk Long Haul XL

I finally got in touch w/Danny Gray employee Sherry Clark. I sent her a couple of photos of my rear fender area because she said some of the CVO bikes have some kind of protective strips (paint) on the fender that prevents their seat from lying flush on the fender surface properly. They put carpet the full length of the pan whereas others use rubber bumbers to keep the seat off the fender. So, if your CVO doesn't have the strips the seat will fit.
For TALL riders (I'm 6'3"), however, Sherry said the sitting position is not any further back that stock, a little lower, but not back. She referred to the deep bucket sculpting treatment and said they couldn't keep the shape and move the position back.
Hopefully some of this will be helpful and assist in the sale of the seat. I apologize for taking up so much of tbob's time; he has been very patient. Since the sitting position won't work for me I'm going to have to pass. This is a great price on this seat. MSRP is north of $800 and most of the vendors are getting north of $700. GLWS.

Yes you do have to remove the chrome strips that are under the passenger seat portion on the rear fender. They are easily removed as they are cheap stick ons. I had to do this to install on my 13 CVO king.
