Everyone has a different opinion of "loud". They have a pretty mellow rumble while cruising and get decently loud under throttle, but definitely not obnoxious loud. Really hate to see these pipes go bc I love the sound of them and they perform great, but wanted a bit deeper/louder so I went with bassani

just paid 600 for the same thing. If you had just been 2 weeks sooner, I would snap them up in a second.
As for poster who is asking about sound, I got exactly what I wanted.
* loud enough when I crank it up in a parking lot that cagers will know a bike is near
* deep rumble, I can't tell you in decibels but the tone isn't as irritating as some others to me.
The sound may be as loud as some others but I don't think so plus I kept the baffles
in as well and I don't see any need to remove them. It is loud enough.
* I can put my radio sound level at just under 50% and hear the songs fine at 50 mph
* I can put the radio sound level at maybe 3/4 and hear the music at 70 mph ok too.
So if you want to listen to tunes, the boombox has a little more left to give if you want it at highway speeds.
you won't anything when you really get on the throttle and it will key the mic if you have the vox set to talk and
for a couple of seconds, you will hear the pipes thru your speakers as well.
Very happy with increase in HP and torque with FuelMoto's recommended stage I kit that includes these pipes.
