Rush True Duals and HD Screaming Eagle Mufflers
#11
Ok Badbagger09, here's more pics.
I looked over the mufflers in detail and I found 2 things on the right muffler I want you to know about. In pic 6 there is a spot that looks like something hit the muffler, it is on the lower inside of the muffler and about 3/8 to 1/2" long (The Screaming Eagle logo is on the outside of the muffler). Also on the right muffler at the exit cone there's a ding, see pic 7. In pics 1 and 3 you can see where the exhaust clamps that hold the muffler on the exhaust have been, these areas are covered by the heatshield.
Thanks for checking. Rollon

Response from Adam Daniels at Rush Racing Products
I contacted Rush Racing and asked about the difference between the 7017 headers and the 7017 HO headers. Here's the response from Adam Daniels:
No they are two different pipes. The only major change comparing them is 7017HO has a torque chamber welded between the top and bottom pipe which scavenges exhaust better than the standard dual. You’ll pick up roughly 5 more HP and 5 TQ over the standard dual; which is why we have discontinued the standard dual. Hope this helps but let me know if there’s anything else I can answer.
Thanks!
Here's Adam's email if you'd like more info. adam@rushracingproducts.com Thanks to Adam for his clarification! I was very happy with my Rush pipes!

No problem, I did response via the email that you sent to cycleryder02@aol.com. They will fit the 2013 RK that my friend just purchased and he is very interested in the mufflers.

Why change exhaust???
IN addition to increased performance, the Rush true Dual exhaust offers a big reduction in the heat all along the exhaust system. Especially around your legs; see the info from this thread! https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...aust-heat.html
