Does this seat set you ahead or about the same as stock and is it narrower where your legs drop down?

 

It's a little wider than the stock seat where your legs drop down. I can't really tell you if it sits you more forward or not because I always used it with a backrest which causes you to be or feel more forward.

 

Can you measure from the slot for the backrest to the edge where the seat drops down for your back? I am running into issues with the newer sundowner seats having a ton of back cushion and pushing me too far forward.

 

About an inch and a half.

 

Not to be a pain in the butt, but do you mind taking a picture of where you are measuring with the tape on it? I am seriously interested. I have a demo hammock in my garage right now. It was on long enough for me to sit on it and I was hugging the tank.
