Ohlins HD 357 Ultimate Shocks for Harley FLH/FLT Touring
#11
33mm or a hair under 13 inches. I had to pull the bottom eyelet all the way in to get it on the bike. The bike was on the jack with the back wheel off the ground so it was fully extended. The stock shock I actually had to bring the bike down and compress the backend about 2 mm to get the eyelets to match up. The preload adjustment ends up only about 1-2 threads left to give me the 11mm sag that the spec calls out. Sag being me off the bike vs me on the bike.

Thats why I said 11mm between me sitting on the bike and me off the bike.
That is what the Ohlins manual says. I've seen it defined more often without the bike weight. Progressive says 5/8 to 3/4 of an inch with the rider vs without the rider.
Yes, Howards instructions defined it as 1/3 of stroke and I did have it as 31 mm with the bike in the air and then me on the bike. So the entire compressed distance of the shock with the bike weight and my weight was 31mm
