why are you selling? was it not tall enough? or didn't make a difference? i just bought a 15 road glide special and i can't get over how much wind blows around up high. and I'm short at 5 foot 7. came from a sporty with a windshield and it actually blocked more wind than the whole fairing on the road glide

I am looking to purchase one of these 9" windshields. I'm tossed between the 9" and 14". I an 5' 9" and also fly a 15 RGS. I see this post was back in May, so you should have been riding with your new KW Flare by now. How is it? Would you recommend the 9 or 14? Thanks for your response.

I bought both, I'm 6'1" and am using the 9". The 14" has me where I catch a spot that gives me an annoying distortion at eye level. I ride with a half helmet and notice I do have several bug splats on it, nothing hits my face though. I can count on 1 hand the times I've had a cross wind bug hit. The combo of vent flow and this windshield is great for me and my ride to work is mostly highway.

I am 5'10, I also bought both but settled on the 9". Both were significantly better than the stock shield. Both made the ride more comfortable. I could see over both of them but obviously more with the 9" on my bike. It really came down to looks and I like the looks of the 9" a little better. With that said, I have a 14" for sale with less than 100 miles on it. PM me if you are interested.

you know i never bought one. since i am short i had 2.5 inches shaved outta my seat and that made a huge difference sitting down in the bike more. less wind can hear my speakers better and can flat foot. best money i have spent so far.
