How easily is the back rest removed/ Once removed is the hardware still showing?
By low I would guess the front is narrowed also?

Part Number is #79700. Since I added the backrest at a later time, I guess it would make it, #79703. Backrest is very easily removed and no, you cannot see or feel the backrest mount. It’s built into the pan of the seat. This was used on a 2013 RGU, according to Mustang website, it fits 2008 to current models.

As for fit, it is slightly narrower upfront vs. stock but only sits you down a little lower….I thought it was barely noticeable. I am now using a Mean City Cycle Supper Narrow cut-seat and that was significant in terms of lowering and narrowing the feel of the cockpit. Mustang is more comfortable though because of increase of width and more padding.
