For Sale: 2009 Road King Classic Leather Hard Bags. Less than 6,000 miles on them, never seen rain. Always cleaned and protected with Eagle One products. There are a few scuffs and light scratches on the leather. All chrome and hardware is in excellent condition.

Hmmh .. do the lugs line up right with the old style frame (2005). My bags are in rough shape

Not my sale but I'm almost positive (99%) they'll fit previous years.

I out a set from a 2010 on my 2008, just adjusted the brackets a little.

The new bags will fit the older bikes but not the other way around as the older bikes you can adjust both mounting points and '09-up only have one adjustable mount. Sold my leather bags off my '09 RKC to a guy that had I believe a '04 RKC and helped him put them on and the worked but his old ones would not fit mine. Not a perfect fit but they worked and he was thrilled.

Looking at that thread it appears that pre 09 bags won't fit an 09 and up bike because the new bikes don't have an adjustable rear mount, but in the reverse scenario it works fine.
