Default Rinehart 2.5" Performance Baffles

Anyone changed their 2.25" stock baffles for 2.5" performance baffles? How do they sound?

2.25" stock, 2.5" for the high flow performance. The high performance have a different hole pattern in them and seem longer in the pictures.

Was thinking about them myself.

I called rinehart about a month ago asking about these baffels. From what I recall the guy said there will not be a noticeable difference in performace but they are definitely louder.

Still would be nice to hear what guys who actually have them say

I put them in my 12 CVO SG. They were louder, but I wouldn't call it a big difference. I changed a lot of baffles before, but that was the hardest job I ever did on a bike. From getting the endcaps off, getting the baffles out and getting the endcaps back on. It wasn't worth the trouble and I'm keeping the 2.25 baffles that came with the 4 in mufflers on my present bike. I do know that others had no trouble at all changing the baffles.

I have the 2.5" baffles in mine. I would say it is a little deeper over louder. Howere, it is hard to tell unless you use adecible meeter. I do love the sound of my pipes and my buddy with a 2014 CVO Road King, bigger cam, hi-comp pistions Rinehart 4" with standard baffles andV&H power duals loves the sound.

Default Baffles

I have a Stage 4 race kit in mine and it's a lot louder when your hard in the gas, but at idle just a little deeper.

I did it for about 3 months and put the others back in. My bike was a lot louder (I like to try to stay in good graces with my neighbors at 5am) and I lost torque. Really wasn't impressed with it.....but that's just my opinion. I sold them on here right after I pulled them out.
