I don't have space for a table, so I make do with a jack. I'm not sure there is anything I actually miss out on, not having a table, but then I've never worked with one.

I vote table if you have the room, otherwise a high lift jack.

The best part of a table is not having to crawl around on the ground to get a good look at things close to the bottom of the bike. I imagine a high lift jack would be okay but the jack I have only lifts the bike 12-16 inches or so, so you still end up on the ground doing some work.

I went with the HF table and am happy. I changed the wheel chock and bolted the lift to the floor. After bolting to the floor it is very solid.

If you have the money and the room then a good table is the only way to go.

I have both and if I had to choose, it would be a appropriately fitted table (Rear removable panel and service jack)

I have the Craftsman jack and it's worked well. I would like a table, but don't have the garage space for one.

I have both. Only use the jack for cleaning but when changing the front tire the jack is the tool of choice.
