Default tank decal overlay/cover-up solution?

I have a 2010 EG with the decal laid under the clearcoat...

I'm going to have it painted over by a sign painter/pinstriper, but want to play with a few ideas first...kind of a temporary solution too.

anyone know of a company making a HD tank sticker/decal that has a footprint the size of my logo?
...or better yet maybe a different model's emblem even?

not a huge fan of the one I have now, so it's the last thing on my list to change out.

A vinyl shop can do a tank wrap or even something that will match the shape of striping now.

I had a sporty that I hated the stock graphics and I took it to a vinyl guy and he made me custom stripes over the tank decals and I put on the emblems that I liked. Everyone thought it was paint when it was vinyl. If interested its on gatewayhd.com for sale. It's the 2011 sportster superlow. Blk n purple.

I can't upload pics of my bike on here but I installed a hd official emblem on the top of the graphics. No shop will make a harley logo exact because of copy right laws. If u have a email I can send u a pic.

You could repaint the logo panel, inside the coach-lines, to give you a two-tone tank, with a fresh decal set in it? Might be easier than trying to perfectly match the current colour.

have someone airbrush one of your choice. look around, find one you like, get a picture of it and photoshop it onto a pic of your bike to see if you really like it, then have the tin painted with one coat of clear, give the tank to the artist have them do their work, then hand it back to the painter for finishing.

This guy could do it start to finish and is one of the best painters I know
