BTSOM hit the nail on the head. Its a PIA to use a bike jack with the center stand. I have to roll my bike on small 2x4's and one under the kickstand to get my jack to work. Its also a PIA to deploy it while sitting on the bike BC the tip of the stand is hiding under the rear passenger floor board and there is NO extension that is out there to fix that that I have found BUT it can be done if you have flexable feet, lol. The tip of your left heel will just catch it, soon as you push it down and it makes contact with the ground, use your left hand and grab the saddlebag guard, use your right hand to steer and pull back while pushing down on the stand, it will work, I do it everyday when I park my bike in the garage or at work. I got mine when I purchased my last bike, I put it on myself in the driveway, took a couple of beers and some cursing, lol. 2 bolts are fine, one is a bitch BC you have to hold a nut that is between centerstand flat mount and the bottom of the bike with like only an inch of room to fit you nubby little fingers, so I used needle nose vice grips and it worked. OP, yes its expensive but IMO worth every dime. Hope that answer helped you out brother.

I installed one on my 2014 Ultra Limited, and I love it. I can still use my bike lift and it makes it easier for the wife to get on the bike. As for me , I can stand on the left floorboard and swing a leg right over the seat.

Please...friends do not let friends buy the HD center or display stand....

Get the EZ-UP Wheeldock and be happy... You can use it from the comfort of your seat. No effort to put the bile on it. Ready to go? Just put the bike in gear and roll off it.

I made the mistake of buyin the HD unit when I had the RGC CVO and it was a PITA!!! Hated it the frigging stand. You can't put it down while sitting on the bike, simply no way in heck to do so...

It was expensive...but when I went to trade the bike I left it installed... I sure hope that the next owner can forgive me....

Very happy now with an EZ-up in the RK. And no, not vested in any way with them, just one extremely happy user (got mine as a birthday gift).

Just be sure to look up your bike to get the correct one as there are bikes that come lowered from the factory and that one uses a different part number.

Am I the only one with an irrational fear that the stock kick stand will fail and bike falls over??

Always wanted a center stand. Maybe some day....

You are not alone.

Another advantage of a center stand is that it works great when, like in my case, you have the need for space... with the bicycles, tools, garbage cans, etc. in the garage, every space saved counts. And you can do most of the services with it...

THANK YOU !!!

WD it is...

And for the person worried about the side stand, HD has the best side stand on the planet, if you put it all the way down there is no way it can fail. When the bike leans over it locks up pretty solid.

I can't tell you how many of my friends with Kawi ZRX's have had their bikes roll off the stand.... The would kill for a positive lock stand like HD has.

Well, yes and no if you do get it all the way forward it's rock solid, if you miss it by an inch or so it'll fold right up and you'll be picking your 900lb bike up off the ground. You'll probably only make this mistake once though.I always give mine a little extra kick forward to make sure it's in place.

I have to say, even when it is placed correctly... that initial play that it has as the bike is settling.. scares the sh** out of me... gets me every time when I see it moving forward...

Might be the best stand for a motorcycle... just that initial play that makes my pulse jump... hheheehehe

Too bad they did not modify the rest of the line up with the same styled stand... Sportsters lack the same type of stand...
