The molecules in petroleum based oil are all different sizes whereas in Synthetic that are all the same size.
Imagine a bunch of different sized marbles between two sheets of glass....That's petroleum based oil.
Imagine a bunch of marbles all the same size between two sheets of glass...that's Synthetic oil.

ME? I dump the OEM oil immediately.
