Fuel Moto Jackpot Stage One
#11
I recently installed the Jackpot 2-1-2 Ceramic Header Pipe and 4" Jackpot mufflers on my 103". Boy, oh boy, am I happy with the set-up. This is the second bike in our garage that we've done Jackpot flow-job on and both are great!
I got the 4" mufflers because they have three different baffle systems for your tuning pleasure and they came in a Slash-Up configuration, which I think is the best looking for FLs with 'glass bags.
I could not be happier with the sound. I ordered the standard baffle (middle one). The bike is quieter than my wife's and hers has Screaming Eagle street legal mufflers on it. It gets loud when you really crack the throttle, but the sound level is easily controlled with throttle setting. The sound is pleasant, but never intrusive when cruising down the road at Interstate speeds.
Before purchasing, I thought I might have to get the quiet baffles, but now find they are totally unnecessary for me -- and I like quiet bikes.
I tuned the set-up with an SERT, using Smart Tune on a race 103" map that Harley had in its files. That map was lean to start with but really smoothed out with two Smart Tune episodes. I was disappointed that Fuel Moto could not get me started on tuning their product with a system other than ones they sell. At least they ought to have some references to offer, if not actual maps. I guess they are doing everything they can to stay out of the MOCO headlights.
Both my wife and I are completely satisfied with the service, quality, and performance of Jackpot products. The fact that their headers take the stock heat shields is the icing on the cake for me. Our bikes look completely stock, sound normal and quiet, but win the pink slip derby every time!
Both bikes have endless torque and run very cool.
This set-up makes the Harley engine do what it was designed to do before the legal department got hold of it.
The 4" look big on the bike. So, the 4.5 would look monsterous I suspect.
You will not be disappointed in sound or performance of the standard baffle 4" pipes. I'm not.

I just posted that I installed the FM kit with a PV tuner. It is a little louder than I expected, but not anything close to my Heritage. I think part of the loud factor is that I have been riding it stock for over a year. The sound is very nice and controllable and does bark pretty good when on it. I am sure I will get used to it and if not, I can always put in the quiet baffle. Heat reduction seems very noticable, which was my main objective. I am very satisified with the whole package.

I think your making the right choice I researched for months. I decided on (well look at my signature) I cant wipe the smile off my face unless I get pulled over (not yet) if I tried. I would consider the Power Vision though. It is really sweet and I just mounted mine permanently on my dash. Well I swap it out with my GPS when needed.

I've got the the 4 inch jackpots with the 2/1/2 pipe, stg1 ac and PV. Great setup and everything went together easy. Ride with my wife on back a lot and she has no complaints about being too loud, even after the 3 days we just spent along the coast. Buddies have reinharts and she often comments on how loud they sound. I would recommend the PV if you don't mind spending a few extra bucks, the auto tune and read outs are great.

I to did the 4" slip-ons, AC & PV2. you won't be disappointed. the sound from the 4" pipes is pleasant. I was concerned about how loud they would be, they are not much louder than stock at cruising and idle... but when you crack the throttle they really wake up, and bark... the power increase and the smooth throttle response with the upgrade makes the bike more enjoyable to ride...
