Default New and Used '14 and '15 pricing

I'm shopping used and new '14's and '15's in SGS or SG standard.
Here's what I have come up with.

THESE ARE ALL OTD TOTAL PRICES. TAX TAG TITLE DEALER FEE...ETC.

I'd really appreciate some feedback from those that have bought and what they paid and what we all think is the "limit" on what the dealers will do.
Both used are near perfect. The new are new.

This is purely on '14 and '15's for now.

I was after a used '14 SG, preferably a SGS. I was shocked they wanted to push a new '15 so much.

'14 SG special 10k miles, Dark Charcoal. $20.3 Stock bike. No less $ on this guy. They are done so far.

'14 SG standard, 500 miles, Dark Char. Pipes/air cleaner. $19.3k I told them $18.5k and I buy. I think $19k gets it. That's my feeling. I really want this at $18.5k.

'15 SG special NEW Black, $22,900

'15 SG Special NEW Dark Char or Amber whiskey, $23,400. I think $23k gets this.

I may be nuts; if I am choosing between a new bike or used it would take a huge gap to consider used. I am talking $4,000 for the first 2,000 miles. New comes with the the ability to select your favorite color. Knowing your bikes history since day one. Breaking in your bike yourself, knowing your bike has never had paint repairs. I could go on and on. IMHO, buy new unless the spread is significant. Don't settle.

I wish you luck. I sold my 09 SG and decided my next one would be used. But our local dealer is selling the 14s at .99% interest with a free stage 1. I haven't gone in to negotiate a price yet because I know I would walk out with a bike if they got it near MSRP.

The non S with 500 miles is $4k less and it's like new. If it where an S, I would have bought it.

It's not easy, I walked twice yesterday. It's the deals on the '15's that got my attention.

Cool

You can only do your best with the deals available to you at the time you go shopping! Your '15 prices are list, straight off the H-D website. If you wait until the snow is deep.....

Oh, perhaps not in FLA!

I do not understand what you're trying to say here.

He means Harley is overstocked in many areas of the country and when the snow flies people don't buy bikes. You may get a way better deal in February than in June. I saw a link that listed invoice on Harleys, the mark up was HUGH, near 5k for a tour bike.

not a fan of the 14's & 15's but out of those listed i think it would be crazy not to go new, simply for the fact you can get it exactly like you want and no wodering or worries of how its been treated already. usually better rates on new
