Garmin 760

Really having a hard time finding a reasonably priced GPS with audio out. Seeing some 760's on ebay. Discontinued unit and the only car GPS with audio out. Does Garmin stills support the older units? Some are advertised with lifetime map updates. Can this really be transferred between owners?
