This makes absolutely no sense at all. Tower close by, move 5-6 feet? WTF...

5-6 feet distance from a cell tower would make no difference whatsoever.

 

Happened to me on a long ride Sat. Stopped for gas and after filling got the security flashing with no response from the starter. There was a 14 Limited near me, but I actually think the gas pump electronics somehow interfered with it. I pushed it about 20 feet away from the gas pump and no problem, started right up. (My buddy's Limited was still near after the push.)
No repeat with several starts on the way home. Of course, I understand the unpredictable time frame on the batteries in the fob, but this one is pretty new and it worked fine the rest of the day.
So, the only known possible interference was the gas pump. Could have been another thing like a customer's cell phone? Who knows.
