Buy the factory service manual and the parts manual. they have mucho valuable information. Also get a three ring binder. Record all your service, repairs, accessories, etc. I record everything I do....that is invaluable down the road when you need to double check something.
Ask questions....you'll get answers. Some may not be what you want to hear, but you will get answers! And snoop around this place. Lots of side rooms, back doors, and places to get info.
And Welcome from Spartan Country!!!

Congrats on the new Street Glide. My experience with the exhaust on my Fatboy led me to Screaming Eagles on my Street Glide. I had V & H Short Staggered on my last Fatboy........very loud, almost too loud. My neighbor knew what time I left for work every day. I went with HD Screaming Eagle slip-ons. They are a good compromise. Not too loud and not too soft.
A bit of advice about exhaust I see posted all the time on the site is go to a bike event and look and listen to different bikes and ask question, everyone likes talking about their bikes and choices they make on mods. Good Luck!
