Red face

Bluetooth is a brand of technology, licenced to manufactorers, so it is reasonable to assume that any product that claims to be 'Bluetooth' compatible will work with another one. They may be made on opposite sides of the World, but they have in common the same technology.

Only true if each device supports the appropriate BT profile/function.

OP, I would start with a helmet that fits your noggin and your needs, then add a quality Bluetooth to it. Loads of videos show how simple it is to do on newer, quality helmets.
The chances of finding a "Twofer" in these regards may be slim.
Of the combos I have seen, they seem to scrimp on one or both of these areas.

I think even HD is confused:

http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US...#!key-features

" Voice Recognition (Optional), Bluetooth
The Boom!™ Box 6.5GT gives you voice recognition for hands-free operation of your mobile phone, navigation system and music. It’s also Bluetooth capable for pairing your mobile phone or wireless headset. Whatever you want, just say the word. Whether it’s directions to the next gas station, a call back to the office you’re not at today or a song that fits the stretch of road you’re on, it’ll be served up without missing a beat."

That's a different blurb than what is on the 2014 page:

What I quoted was for the 2015 UltraClassic under Infotainment. Doesn't appear for the Limited....seems that not everyone at HD is on the same page.

Agreed

Until I hear someone report that, "yes I paired my Nolan/Sena/whatever with my HD Infotainment system and can listen to music, navigate voice commands, and hold a phone conversation with it" I consider this either ignorance, or intentional misrepresentation from HD. And yes, I know about the trick of pairing a headset/helmet with both the radio and a phone, but that still isn't HSP support.

Neither of which is good.

As far as I can tell, the radio does NOT support HSP. I submitted a product review on the 6.5 system on the H-D website to this effect, gave it 2 stars. we'll see if they post it.
