What benefit do you expect to gain by adding something in addition to the oil in your primary? Why not just run a good quality lubricant and save your money by not buying an additive?

If your primary fluid doesn't come with the additives already in it I wouldn't be adding any same for the trans/engine.

All oils we buy have additives, so I can see no benefit in adding yet more. There is enough about oils on HDF to satisfy most of us, so read up a little, if you feel the need to, and buy an oil that other's recommend.

Main purpose for the oil in the primary is to lube the chain and cool the clutch plates. Special additives are not needed to accomplish the task.

The basic claim is a reduction in friction. Not necessarily something you want up on your clutch plates.
