How many miles can you put on the stock clutch. I have a 07 FLHTC and now have 10000 miles on it. When should I expect to replace it. I did a seach and did not find any info Thanks MDodson

Wow, 10k on a '07, you must be retired. Wish I had time to ride that much. I don't even put 10k+ on my truck in a year.

Clutch life depends almost entirely on how it's used. Police bikes are the best example of how to mistreat a clutch - much slipping due to low speed maneuvers. Citing the number of miles you do per year translates into a lot of highway miles meaning your clutch may last 100K miles or more.

10K miles is a new bike. It will be many years before you need to worry about the clutch unless you go WAY out of your way to abuse it.

When you hit 100K, you may want to replace the belt and sprockets, but then again, maybe not --- and I would bet your clutch will still be just fine.A wet clutch seems to last forever.

How long do you plan on keeping the bike?
