I have an 04 Road King classic that at some point I hope to change to hard bags (looking like I will have to get a pair painted somewhere here in the Daytona beach area due to the rare color of my bike) In the meantime however I would like to get rid of the bag guards.

I see that they have saddle bag supports but they all state that they don't fit my classic. Does anyone know if they truly don't fit or if they say that just because I don't have hard bags? I would think that classic, or custom or whatever would all have the same mounting options

 

Get yourself a set of take off supports from a streetglide or a road king custom.
That's all you need beside the bags.
