Default Stage 1 Kit - '07 Ultra Classic

I hear everyone talking about the stage 1 kit for their ultra, but I can't find hardly anything on the web about it.. Can someone shed some light on this for me? I just am curious as to what all the "kit" contains, how much it will cost me, and what kind of improvement that I can expect from this. If there are specific part numbers for the kit, please let me know that as well.

Thanks in advance!

Stage one is primarily related to changing the air cleaner (AC) to what is referred to a stage one AC (such as a SE or AN Big Sucker), plus normarlly slip-ons and a download (or installation and setup of a SERT, PC or other device) to correct the AF mixture in the bikes computer (ECU).

I already have the V & H Oval Slip-Ons on my bike, so all I would be adding would be the upgrade to the ECM & the Air Cleaner.. How much should I expect to pay for this if I just get the download versus the SERT or PC?

add another 50$ or so labor for the HD shop to do the download. Never understood that. 140$ for the download, 50$ to install the download. Another HD rip off. So i went w/ the PCIII. for 75$ more, i got something that was customizable.

Man, save yourself some heartache and $$$$$$. Call Jamie at FuelMoto and have him send you a PCIII with the proper map already installed. It's "Plug-and-Play"....and on the money. You can do the AC install easily. The H-D or K&N are about the same...I went with the K&N. Better quality cleaner element. My '07 runs perfect. I also have the V&H Ovals. Love the sound and overall performance. Jamie is a super guy and a lot of help and good info.

Good luck.

I wouldnt even fool with the download, especialy if you ever plan to upgrade to duals or a 2-1 later.
