Default Heat Shields?

Still relatively new to Harley's and my 12 UC but loving every minute of it...keep looking for excuses to go for a ride.

I'm sure it's been covered here somewhere but after a couple of quick searches, didn't come up with an answer. As much as my wife also loves the bike & riding with me, her one big complaint is the amount of heat on her right foot.

Anyone know of a heat shield solution that works...either HD or aftermarket?

Appreciate your help!

Gut the cat or buy a catless header. That will take care of the heat.

That area is such a dead spot for any air movement. Just hold your hand down there when your riding. Very warm to hot. No shield is going to help that heat. What we need is for someone's to invent some sort of air scoop to direct air to that area. Would really make a difference.
