Default Lowering the front of a 13 SG

What are your thoughts on lowering the front another 2 inches from stock? I have a 21 inch wheel, and I know I will lower at least an inch, but what about 2? Any issues with travel? Not sure about what set up I'll go with either.

Any help would be great....

People do lower their front ends the full two inches you can, with the Progressive drop in kit. When I installed my 21" wheel, I choose to only drop it 1 1/4 inches (I.e. a 3/4" spacer). I felt when you drop it the full 2 inches, your just one massive pothole away from a big a$$ dent on the top of the fender. But that's just me. When I removed the 21, I kept the drop. I absolutely love how it looks, so its staying that way for a while. I also added SE heavy fork oil. I think a 50/50 mixture of stock and heavy oil is probablly better, but again, I like to play it safe.

Thanks for your input...

The sig picture looks very nice with the front lowered.

Can you post more pics of your drop?

I am also very interested.

Happy to. Here's a side shot of the bike with the 21 wheel. The front forks are (as mentioned) lowered 1 1/4 inches. The rear is lowered 1 inch with lowering blocks. Because the stock rear shocks on the Anni Road King are the same as the Ultras 13 inches (actually 12 3/4 inches), the rear is right at 11 3/4 inches. My plan is to get 11.5 shocks in the near future, to properly level out the bike.

And here's the same setup, 1 1/4 front drop and 1 inch rear drop, with the factory 16/17 wheels:
