Just purchased an 05 Ultra and Im wondering if it comes with to sets of headgear for the intercom system or just one? I only got one set. Im not sure I will use them but seems kind of useless with just one. Also would like to here how much people use them and how well they like them. Thanks in advance. PS so far this is a great bike

 

you get just one. I don't use the HD one anyway. I went with J&M. Better sound quality.

Yeah, only comes with one which is pointless. So I bought a second for the mrs. and have no complaints. good unit and pretty good sound quality.

 

Yet another one of those methods the old Motor Company picks another couple hundred bucks out of your pocket. Don't feel bad, old558, I couldn't believe it either.

Buy Harley stock! They sell every bike at least twice.

 

I just got my 07 Ultra, it came with one headset and I had the dealer give me the second as part of my deal. Harley ain't so bad, I had to buy both headsets with my BMW K1200LT.

 

Poke around on Ebay, I have seen sets for as little as $70.00 and seller claimed they are new. I got a set from ebay for around that price, and sprayed with some Lysol before mounting and replaced the foam cover on the mic. Worked great and made the Mrs. Happy that I could now hear her "suggestions" during the ride.

 

I bought the extra one, but rarely use it, I DON'T NEED ANYMORE VOICES IN MY HEAD!

 

I also got them to throw the 2nd one in on the deal. I got over on HD by $160 dollars. They have gotten over on me by thousands. You have to admit they are pro's at getting into your pocket.
