Default Rear Brake Pads Causing Noise

My 2014 Limited has a rattle/clunk whenever I hit a bump. I narrowed it down to the rear brake pads causing the rattle/clunk. With the saddlebag off, bike on lift, I can hit the rear tire with a rubber mallet and cause the noise. If I hold the rear brake pedal or hold the 2 brake pads with my fingers, then hit the tire, the noise stops. The 2 pads seem kind of loose. Bike has done this since new. Anti rattle spring is in place. Rotor is straight.

What can I use to stop the noise? I thought of brake pad silencer but I thought that stuff was for squealing brakes.

Yeah, I would use the brake pad silencer treatment. That stuff is pretty sticky and will help keep the pads from making the noise that you are describing. I believe the pads will actually stick to the pistons.

you have a warranty.
Take it in, have them look at it to ensure that the pads, clips etc are installed correctly.
