What issues should i anticipate installing a 2012 road glide exhaust on an 04 road glide
Anyone performed such a swap?

Does your 04 have an 88 or 96? I am not positive but you might check fitment as the '12 RG is a 103.

Why do you want to put a 2012 exhaust with a catalytic converter on an 04? Just curious since so many of us have removed the cat on the newer bikes.

From what I have been told. The cases and outside of the jugs are the same from 88 to 96 to 103. The 88 is where they all started. To get the 96 they changed the crank and stroke. To go from 96 to 103, they then changed the jugs and pistons to larger inside diameter bore.

Kinda like Legos! So with that reasoning, the exhaust should work!

I think you will need to fab a bracket under the bike on the trans ?? It has been done and I am sure they will pipe in.

Jumpman did it, maybe he can make the bracket for a nominal fee ???

the swing arm on the 12 is wider you'll have to shorten the crossover pipe.s&s makes a newer style 2-1-2 to fit the older frame.
