That is correct. The neck is completely different, the motor mounts were moved slightly as well. The 14 up bike is changed more than you would think.

True. If you can find the 2014 My Technical Forum document you can see all of these changes.
Not sure how much really-really changed in the neck but there are changes significant enough to say it's different and a 2014 fork/triple is not going to mount up to a 2013 neck.

Back to the subject, you could probably use the new fairing mounts on a 2013 and below regardless of the neck changes but at this point there is not even an exploded parts list to reference so everything is just speculation, and as already stated, all of the gauges plus radio are on the HD-LAN system so unless you are somehow going to stuff 2013 gauges into a 2014 fairing... yeah. Probably not.

If you throw enough money at it...anything's possible, but why would you want to? As others indicate...just get the '15 and have less headaches...JMO.

The red indicates the 2014 changes to the frame. I'm not saying the changes will affect whether or not a '15 catfish-nose will fit.

....but it is not, in fact, the same.

"The grease zerk has been eliminated"...... So that means the steering head bearings can only be greased by complete triple tree disassembly!

No way you will be able to just bolt the 15 RG fairing on to a 13 and older, it's going to take some fabricating. But, I know you could get a good chassis fabricator or a custom bike builder to either get it mounted for you, or build all the brackets and mounts to make it work. The wiring will be a different story, doable, but probably some extensive work there.

Not trying to be argumentive; I have seen the factory internal document that shows the 14 touring frame highlighting the changes from the 13 touring frame. The overall frame structure is the same, but the steering neck is different as well as the motor mount tabs. You cannot use a 13 frame on a 14 touring bike. The areas that were changed are welded into the frame, not separate parts.

Anything can be done to a motorcycle with a unlimited budget. If someone wants the 15 roadglide fairing they will be thousands ahead by trading or selling their bike and then buying the bike they want. Can you imagine trying to sell or trade a 13 Roadglide with a 15 fairing.
