I heard that the mustang smooth touring seat is a half inch higher and half inch more forward than stock. I can't imagine any seat placing you closer to the tank than the stock EG seat so I'm wondering if this synopsis is correct. Does anyone have this seat on their touring bike? Can you tell me how it position you compared to stock and also is it comfortable.
I just bought the super touring model and I think it moves me back a little more than I need so I have been thinking of returning it and trying the wide touring model but I'm concerned I may feel cramped with it.

 

I have one on my RK. It puts me up and back about an inch. At least it feels that way when my feet are on the highway pegs. I love the seat though.

 

Anyone with that seat on an EG?

 

I have it on a 2013 and I was also concerned about it moving me forward. After installation, I didn't notice any significant change. Don't know about a 10.

I had that seat on 2 different RGs. Worked well for me.

 

Have one on my '10 EGC. More comfortable than the stock seat. Can't comment on positioning as compared to the stock, I switched it out right after I got the bike and don't remember what the old one felt like.

 

got one on 07 ultra is does raise u up but not forward.
