Some questions about ohlin suspension
I have a 2007 street glide. I'm not happy with the suspension. From what I'm reading, it sounds like Ohlin might be the way to go. There is a distributed here in town, but I don't know if he actually works on Harley's. Can I just buy ohlins and put them in? From what it looks like there is a whole fitting process. How about front end? If I do the rear, what should I do for the front end? I know this topic has been beaten to death, but I haven't seen anything new on it lately.

You can buy a set and slap them on but they are still off the self and not necessarily sprung or valved to your weight.
Investing in a shock that is set up for you will pay dividends in the ride quality. Do some searching and you will find a few companies that will do this service. They may be a bit more expensive than off the self progressives and the like but you will notice the difference.
Motorcycle metal and terry cable are two that come to mind and I'm sure there are more out there.

Howard at Motorcycle Metals custom builds every Ohlins shocks he sells to your specs , Ohlins range from about $550 - $1400 depending on which model you choose , you can also put Ohlins in your front end from under $1000 to a little over $3000 , again depending on what you want . Ohlins are not cheap but worth every penny in my opinion. I'd call Howard and discuss your budget and needs , believe me he will not pressure sell , he just gives advise and lets you decide.
