I've been off recovering from a surgery for about a week. And being off and around the house surfing the internet and this forum a great deal. I've about come to the conclusion that I want to step up from my fat bob to a bagger. As my woman came across looking at my research she says "I don't like the bikes with the big fairings and saddlebags, they just don't flow with the bike." She is a form over function girl and she had the best response I have heard when I explained the usefulness of the fairing and radio. "I wear uncomfortable shoes all day because they are pretty" Too simple to overcome that statement lol. Just wondering if any other riders on here has a woman who thought like that when you were thinking about getting a touring bike.

When I was shopping I was only looking at the Electra glides. Wife saw the pictures and said she didn't like them as they didn't look like the classic cruisers.
I looked at her and smiled, finally I can get two bikes, one without the bags and fairing for you and me on this we can ride together. Umm, no thank you. Never said a thing again, but complimented me on my limited when I got home.

This thread has been all in good fun and seeing how others dealt with their significant others. In all t hurt fulness mine will support no matter what bike I buy. She enjoys the ride as much as I do. She like the cushy comfy side of the limited but she says we aren't old enough yet. I think she would be happy with the glide and not complain but she will miss the bob as she missed the sportster when I first got the bob. Just wish I could afford to keep both just not in the cards at the present
