But I don't care. I'm starting today. Bike is in the air and everything is in except for the braided lines. I'm sure they will be in by the time I'm ready for them. My wife is shaking her head [] Last night I broke a screw tightening it too much installing the highway pegs. That's not stopping me. Especially when that only hit me for $3.95. Service Manual and Forum, don't fail me now.......Off to the garage!

 

If you broke a screw putting a foot peg on I would not attemped this project it takes more than just wanting to work on your own bike Trust me I been there.

I assume you are running your wires thru those bars?

Step 1: Step away from the bike!
Step 2: Read the manual for each item you are going to install.
Step 3: Buy the needed torque wrenches.
Step 4: USE THE TORQUE WRENCHES!
Step 5: Step away from the bike, and admire what you just completed. With beer in hand of course!

 

Too late I already started. I knew someone would talk me out of it so I left after I typed the message.

I have done all of the step above. I am doing good. I am to the point where I extend the wires and run them through the bars. I was suppose to start this project Sunday and don't have the wires in hand. I will get the wires Sunday (from a friend)and continue.....I got the bars mounted. As soon as my wife gets off the other computer I will post a picture.

 

And before someone says it, I know I will have to take the bars off to run the wires.

 

now how in the heck are you gonna get that thing together,, if you add a piece,, come in here to type,, add a piece,type,add,type,add,,, type,,,???
