Can I remove baffle from cross over side only?

Can I remove baffle from cross over side only?
My SE touring muffs are too quiet. I pulled the innerds out and it is totaling encapsulated. No getting to anything in there. Is it possible to remove the baffle from the cross-over side only for additional sound and retain sufficient back pressure? It seems as though there is not much air flow through that left side anyway.

RE: Can I remove baffle from cross over side only?
on stock pipes and slipons...
70% exhaust on right side
30% on left side
DO NOT REMOVE ONLY THE BAFFLES FROM ONE SIDE.
either get a different set of slip ons or a set of true dual pipes or 2 into 1 pipes.
think about it like this...stop up one side of your nose ...now try to breath or blow your nose...not real easy, HUH. Same thing on removing only one baffle.

Hes removing a baffle not plugging one. At the very least he's going to have more flow, not less...
Regardless, new slip ons are the better option... but I like the curiosity, wonder what it would do to it and how it would sound...

I have plans to design new baffles 2 1/2 and re-think the flow characteristic of it...
Without the baffle it has a really rich low tone, but I'm sure at 60-70 it would be crazy loud... and around here, if a LEO gets behind you and sees no baffle, Ticket Time...
Are you saying remove just the left or left also?

RE: Can I remove baffle from cross over side only?
I would be curious if anybody has removed the baffles on any 07 stock exhaust.
When I had my 05 Suzi Boulevard C50, I removed the baffles and loved the increase sound. In addition, no remap was needed. Curious if I could do the same thing to my SG.

I'm saying just removing the left baffle since it get onl a small fraction of the exhaust flow anyway. Should retain back pressure and gain noise. I guess the only to tell is to try it. I just didn't want to burn anything up. Do you think any damage could result?
