I have their Eagle Beak slip on and have had them since June, they started turning by July. I have been calling them ever week since and just this week got the replacement rings and chrome tips. They claim they are now made of Teflon and will not turn. I am going to put them on and if they turn they will be in the corner of the garage turning into rust like sadi earlier and I will put my Bassanis back on.

 

I believe the Dennis Kirk outlet store has a pair new, out of boxRhinehart black tips for $29.

 

Wow! This forums is 'da bomb!!

I bought a 2-1 setup and within 3 weeks the muffler show rusting and the cap changed to almost a copper like color.

Called BUB, they requested the receipt and should be sending a new replacement muffler plus prepaid shipping as they do want the defective part back.

Don't mind a bit as long as they honor my warranty.

06 SG here, Rinehart S/O's, Love the pipes, hate the purple, bought these new uninstalled from EBAY from someone who for whatever reason never installed them. Some say the difference in black and purple is your grip...??? Worth a try I guess.

You can get the end caps replaced under warranty up until a year after the sale. Give 'em a call and fax 'em your receipt.

 

I would just buy the chrome tips instead

 

Anyone know if they make the chrome tips for the 2-1 exhaust? 2-1 tips are doing the same thing.
