I'm replacing the rear tire on my 06 road king. Is there a tube?

It has stock spoke rims

Spoke rims require a tube and rim strip.

Not always-I have spoked rim on the rear of my softail, tubeless. Unless you have owned it from new,you won't know till you pull off the tire. Come to think of it,you can tell a tube or tubeless by looking at the valve stem. If it has a tight fit in the rim, tubeless. Let the air out and see if you can move the stem around in the rim.If it's loose,it's a tube.

The tubeless spoke wheels are relatively new. Unless his bike is 2012 or newer softail, chances are spoke wheels have tubes. Unless someone has had them lined.

dont use the tubes from drag specialties,I've had 2 flats from defective tubes on last 2 new tires, try honda tubes, they have a really long vale stem with a 90 degree bend easy to check and add air.

Yes it has a tube and no it is not a stupid question.

I would suggest replacing the tube and rim strip each time you replace the tire. It's just good preventive maintenance.

While the wheel is off, have them bearings and brakes checked as well since the wheel is already off.

I'm putting a D402 MU85HB 16 on The rear. Anyone have a part number for the tube I need?
