you could do a quick search- this comes up every 2 days. plenty of threads incl. pics of my bike.

one thing- pull your stock seat now and see if the fender is chewed up.

that could change your plans if it is

True words of wisdom. I very much wanted a solo seat on my '13 Road King, till I pulled off the stock seat and saw how trashed my fender was from the stock seat. I went out on a limb and bought a Badlander two up seat in the hopes THAT seat would cover the scratches. Not a chance! Damnit, back on with the stock seat. :-(

Thought about a solo seat but between having to drill another hole in my fender, the scuffing issue mentioned, and the other hassles I just decided on the 2 up custom HD seat. It covered the scuffs from the stock seat and looks a hell of a lot better.

I love it

I've had the Mustang Vintage Solo on a couple of my Road Kings. I'm 6'3'' and this seat fits me well. I ride solo 99% of the time, but I also have the passenger pillion (13" wide). I think that would cost about $525 together ($325 for the Vintage Solo). If you decide to get a Mustang or any other seat for that matter, I highly recommend getting one that will accept a backrest. Even if you don't need it now, sooner or later.............
