I recently installed a set of Howard's 2-2a Ohlins and was very pleased with the shocks and also working with Howard. I would highly recommend both..,

Howard's Ohlins 6's are either Ohlins HD 357 or HD 927 or combo of the two. The HD 357 list for $1573.20 however sell online for $1399.95 including shipping. This shock has a 3.6" stroke, remote can and adjustable compression and rebound. Ohlins recommends rebuilding after approx. 25,000-30,000 miles at a cost of $250 for labor plus parts. Ohlins has discontinued the HD 927.

The only part Ohlins or JRI change when you order them is the external spring based on weight and riding style.

I have a set of Ohlin #2 adjustable shocks on order from Howard. He recommended them based on my goals. I'm really excited to get them installed.

I'm planning on going ohlin up front also. Will probably have a proper mechanic do the fronts for me. Seems like a big job.

I've had both, and the Ohlins rock compared to JRI. Spend the extra hundred. You'll be happy you did.
