Default Bags Question?!?!

Ok guys, here's the deal. I currently have the stock leather bags on my maroon 2005 Road King Classic. What are your opinions on putting black hard bags on it? Would it look alright or just outright idiotic??

I've got an '05 RKC. I bought it used and dumped the leather bags the first week I had it. I put hard bags on it and then within the last year, I went CVO style bottoms and have never looked back! I wanted something easier to maintain AND lock. I went to the dealer with my key code and they ordered locks for me. It all works on the same key. Big plus to me. Good luck!!

If you're running hard bags, you need to color match. Black hard bags on a red bike would look like the owner got a deal on black bags, and didn't want to paint them. If your gas tank is maroon and black, you could add some maroon to the black bags and do a two-tone paint scheme.

Ok, thanks for the replies! I think I'll just get the paint from Harley and have a local body shop paint them when I finally get them.
