Default Speaker baffle size?

Hi all,
I am going to order some of the design engineering speaker baffles.
I have the HD boom speakers that are 5.25" but they sell deep and shallow baffles that are 4" or 2.5" deep.
To save me taking my fairing off, does anyone know the depth of the boom audio fairing speakers ?

Thanks foe the help

If I am visualizing what you are saying the baffles will mount from the wear of the speaker inclosing the speaker completely and screwed thru the speaker lip and into the back of the inner faring. If that is the case I would think you need at least the 4in depth to case the magnet and cover the speaker. Or are the sizes you mentioned for the diameter of the speaker magnet itself? Now if this helps a stock speaker I took out of my 2013 FLHTC has a magnet diameter of 1 1/2 and from front of speaker to back of magnet is 2 3/4 inch deep. And I am guessing that the boom speakers would be bigger then that. This is just something to go by if know one gives you the exact answer your looking for. Good luck

Hi tchunter,
Thank you for the dimensions.
I think you are correct, 4" deep speaker baffles will allow for the depth of the magnet plus a little space.

Thanks again,

I should have mentioned this earlier, you may want to contact them about heat issues, if the speaker is enclosed how does the speaker breath and cool down. Speakers at high volume for awhile will get hot even with out the boxes.
