Side play on shift rod lever

$225 plus S&H is kinda steep...
I was having the same issue with mine. The bolt that secures the lever to the spline had bad threads at the place of contact with the spline, I would assume from coming loose and vibrating. I replaced the screw with a new one from the dealer, used a little loc tite. So far, so good.... $1.50 for the screw
