Smile riders pipes as they pass you

I think i have finally arrived- my pipes are what... i think sound just right.

I always used to listen to bikes as they passed me, and though how good that other guy's pipes sounded-

I think that I am now,........ that other guy.

Cheers,

I wish I knew what my pipes sound like.....mods as described in my sig., I hear the air cleaner when I open the throttle, the sound of the pipes goes "out the back" behind me - maybe if I pass you one day, you can tell me what my bike sounds like!

Let some one else ride your bike passed you so you can hear what others hear then you'll know

I was supprised how much having a tour pack on/off changes the sound for me as a driver. I have several friends with the same pipes so it's no surprise what they are like.

I guess we are supposed to be smart enough to search through the brag line under the signature pic for the answer. Obnoxious.

I thought my set up (V&H Straightshots) on my Softail and my Samson Hell Raisers on the Street Glide didn't sound good until I let my Indy mech take them for a ride past me at about 70mph. Holy crap!! it was almost scary what they sounded like and made a believer out of me that the sound you hear when riding is nothing what others hear around you. Have someone test ride them past you or follow them in a car or other bike before you decide to mod them or change them.
