RE: Boogey lites
I have Boogey lights on my bike and have lots of problems with them--the thing is--is that they are lifetime guaranteed and my installer keeps replacing them--thats okay but he is 50 miles from where I live--but thenthey sayit is the journey and not the destination. I have the Ultimate engine kit and a bunch extra--looks great WHEN THEY ALL WORK.

I have them on my Ultra also.I have had a few of them burn out, thet replaced them at no charge of course.Just is a hassle to keep replacing them.I tried to get them to let me pay the diff for the cut n click but to no avail. They didnt know how to credit me and pay the diff. That's the only problem i had with them ,I am in the parts business and kind a understand where they are coming from.
The cutnclicks are my pick of what they sell, much easier to deal with later. They are fun but I wouldnt do it again.Just my .02...

What goes bad with them? Is it the LED itself, or the way that they are attached to the wiring? From what I understand LEDs get like 100,000 hours on them before they "burn out" I was thinking of putting some show leds on my bike next winter as a good winter project, this thread is making me rethink that project.

RE: Boogey lites
Mine ,the ones under the tank would slowly change their hue and eventually burnout.Thought it could have beeb from the heat, but was told no way.I reinstalled a new set this winter so i will see how long these will last.I put in seperate circuits nad a seperate fuse box to add in easy removal down the road,so i know hook up was correct.I did have the bike in for warranty work and the tech cut the wires before realizing and forgetting that I told them howI had installed them.He resoldered everything back.I don't if this was the culprit or not.I highly recommend isolated each circuitfor future use.Good luck
