And anyone else that is interested. Here are the pics. of the hidden brace that will let you remove the ugly rubber thing. The hidden brace on the left beside the rubber thing on the right.

The part number for the brace is 91140-04.

To resurrect an old thread here..when you remove the bumper, does it leave holes in the fender like the front pieces when removed??

Turbo,

No there are no holes. The front bumper bults to the forks along witht the fender and has a tab under the front of the fender. The rear bumber bolts (I can't remember exactly where) to a bracket, not the fender. The chrome trim on the front bumber will leave holes.

I want mine off my 06 Electra glide .
I started to take it off and relized the front tire must come off the Bike.
because of the Tabs , Dam.
I guess i will wait and just Focus on Riding the Bike I only have 111 miles on the Bike

What a front fender looks like when some idiot backs his SUV into the bike - Yah..he fessed up, and paid the $350 for the fender replacement and paint to go with it...

Wish I had a bumper before that!

Does anyone Have the V logo front Fender rail?
Does it have a center mounting point like the stock rail.
I kinda like the look better than the stock one..

I'm glad he fessed up to it and paid for the repair. Any other damage?
