Pics of hammock seat with no tourpak on.
I have been doing some comfort upgrades on my bike to try and get rid of new bike fever. Right now, I am not in a financial position to buy new, or next to new. I did a couple simple upgrades that made a world of difference, and hear nothing but great things about the hammock seats.
So, I am looking to buy a hammock seat for my 06. Just wondering what they look like with the pack off. If it looks ok, I can justify spending a little more by selling my road glide seat (use it when the TP is removed for a sleeker look) it's not too bad comfort wise either.
Post me up if you got them.

I'll say that for most, the more comfortable seats like the Hammock or Sundowner will not have a very clean sleek look with the tour pack off.
I have a Sundowner on my Street Glide, and although very comfortable I wouldn't like the look without the tour pack.
I can tolerate have a passenger backrest, but to go without either of them I want to put the stock seat back on.
I don't think I have any pics with just the seat on.

I have the seat and Use it when the wife rides or long trips, I add the tourpak because the Hammock is a butt ugly seat. And from behind it looks like you mounted your living room sofa to your bike. For longer trips I would bite the bullet and do it, hell after 6 hours your gonna be ready to give your left nutt for some comfort, you'll loose 5 shades of cool but pick up a ton of comfort.

Have struggled with the same issue. Best solution I could come up with is a SHORT riders backrest on there when running without a PAC to visually balance the huge seat somewhat. I think the sundowner is as big as you can go and not look like total crap without a trunk, and even that don't look great.

Can't see it when you're riding it.
I know we all want our bikes to look good. But I am a function over form kind of guy.
If it HAS to "look good", deal with the uncomfortable seat.
I have a Corbin, and wouldn't do without it. Of course, it's not as fat-assed as the HD "comfortable" seats either.
