Default Click click click

2007 Ultra Classic. When the engine warms up, approximately 8-10 miles a clicking sound starts. It sounds the same as if a stone where stuck in the tire, but doesn't. Even my rider can hear it. Anyone have an idea what would cause this? I was thinking maybe valve clatter? Is it anything I should worry about?

Does it still do it once you stop, with the engine running? If it is a valve, the click is probably that hydraulic lifter, which needs attention, however get that confirmed first!

Lifter should vary with rpm's, tick should increase or decrease with the rpm's.
