If you go up start off by waving $12K under his nose and slowly move up from there.

Extras only make the bike sell more easily, normally don't add value, book price is still the same!

I like the black bike with the detachable tourpak and the low miles are nice.

Thanks all,

If the guy looking at it tonight bails, I'll be down there first thing tomorrow morning with cash in hand.

Black one looks like the deal...
Having said that, I have a friend that is selling his bike.
2009 Street Glide
5155 mileage Vance&Hines 4" Monster Rounds mufflers. Upgrade air cleaner&download at dealer. Arnott air suspension with compressor (mounted cleanly) Fluids done in April less than 500 miles since done Approx. 9 months left ext warranty. Cycle Jack, stock shocks, extra windscreen.
Always garaged and treated well, clean title.
Book with extras 15,800... asking 15,000 but id wager he'd come down. Said he was thinking of sticking it on ebay. He's about 1/2 hr from Ocean City in Delaware..

Thanks, does he have any pics? I can send you my email via a PM. To be honest though, I have 14k cash I can drop today. Not looking to go over that price. If he'd be willing to entertain that offer and can send pics I'm interested. I can come down tonight if that works for both parties.

I had an 06 Ultra Classic and never had a problem with it. Swapped out the cams and installed the SE cam chain tensioners. 56,000 miles never left me stranded. Wish I still had it. Good luck...

Just wanted to thank everyone for their help so far.

I am going to check out the blue one with the 88CI in it today after work. If it checks out to be a clean bike and they'd take less we'll go from there. If I can get that one for 12-12500, it's a good deal IMO. Even though it's an 88CI, still a good deal at 12k. (thoughts?)

If the black one is still available, I'll jump it first thing tomorrow. However, that deal looks too good to last. Crossing my fingers that it doesn't sell.

Elprez might come through with a deal too, I guess I had 2-3 options on my plate at this time.

I like the black one myself with all the add ons and I bet you will really like the bigger motor, doing any 2 up riding? Honestly though they both seemed priced a little IMO. I would think they would come down a $1000 at least considering they are 2006 with the old frame, smaller motor, and 5 speed transmission. Most of the pre 2007 are closer between $10k to $13k in my area. http://stlouis.craigslist.org/mcy/4545369249.html

Wow you're right, they're cheaper out you way. My girlfriend rides with me every now and then, but she has her own bike now. She just got her license a couple weeks ago so we both go out riding. But 2 up isn't uncommon depending where we go.

I've checked all over the place within a 5-6 hour radius and can't find much with lower miles. Heading out in about an hour to check out the blue 06.
